My first post. This isn't a standard blog since I'm the web designer, so all I have to do is rewrite then upload the new page. Blogs, like Wordpress and such, aren't difficult as it is, since they make them really user friendly. I would just rather do it this way. If you want to see a blog in action, go to one of my own blogs at www.personalplaces.com/wordpress. It was a blog I started up after my TIA (mini stroke) and what I went through when I quit smoking.
I really should go back to my first blog. I put a lot of work into it. And it kept me occupied while I was going through nicotine withdrawals. Right now though, I want to finish this site. I can't help but feel like I'm in the story about the cobbler, where everyone in the village had shoes but his own family. I do websites for everyone but myself. Well, it's time to get working on my own site. I will probably change the layout a hundred times before I'm satisfied though. The advantage to websites ... they don't have to be permanent. So unlike writing, where once printed, you are pretty much committed. I'm thinking that might be why I find creating websites so less stressful than a piece of writing. I can change my mind when it's done. :)
