She reads from her book, talks of what her own son endured at the hands of a bully and then has an interactive yet lively and fun discussion with the audience. With her strong yet upbeat parental voice and her ease at speaking with children of all ages, Patricia engages the young audience with a no-nonsense look at bullying as it effects children and families. Her talks give hope as well as a few strategies to those whom have been or are being bullied.

When speaking to an adult audience, her parent-to-parent approach gives emphasises on taking loving action and participating in the lives of our children. As well, it underscores the key role parents play in helping our children overcome a crisis of bullying.
